Hamilton's 7000 Series syringes are modified Microliter syringes with a plunger-in-needle design. The fine-gauge tungsten plunger wire extends to the tip of the needle, ensuring that all solvent is expelled while dispensing volumes from 0.05 µL up to 5 µL. The knurled hub handles up to 6,000 psig maximum injection pressure. The needle is removable but with a limited number of gauges available because the plunger is fitted inside the needle. Autoclavable when disassembled. Repeated autoclaving will shorten syringe life.
